Private Training & Day Training
What is different about In-home private training?
During private lessons, you will receive 100% of the trainer’s attention. Group training classes are not always the answer when you work shift work, live out of town or your dog has a more in depth behavioural issue than can be addressed in a group class setting. Each private lesson program is client focused and driven. We will teach, guide and educate you, the owner. Because your dog is learning behaviours in the actual environment in which he will be expected to perform them, the learning is quicker, the behaviour is more reliable and you and your visitors are much happier!
Our private training sessions go above and beyond teaching your dog basic obedience signals and provide you with a strong foundation of understanding what motivates your dog to do the things he or she does.

Struggling to find time to train your dog? Then day training is for you! We offer convenience, and customized solutions for busy lives. We will set up an initial appointment which will lead to a number of sessions of us training your dog, determined by your needs. All while you are at work! Culminating in a transition session to show you what your dog has learned and to transfer the training to you, including teaching you how to ask for and reinforce new behaviours, and what to do if you don’t get a requested behaviour or if you experience an unwanted one popping back up.
Day Training focuses on important foundation behaviours, including but not limited to; coming when called, walking nicely on leash, focus on handler, leave it, stay/wait, proper greeting behaviour and more.
We will also provide report cards after each training session that tells you what your dog has learned, what we’ll work on in the next session, and how you can help to maintain the training we’re doing.
